HELP SIMS CRASHING

help my sims 2 is crashing i have updated all drivers re-installed windows got the latest verson of directx re-installed the game sevral times.

it runs it fine but then it will randomley freeze and there is a clicking noise even ctrl alt delete doesnt work.

i have looked all over the net on how to fix it and no one has seemed to have this problem!!

My Sims Game crashes and does the same but its either my graphics card or my PC is too hot. I am having issues with a new graphics card as it wont work in my pc as something is conflicting with it, but it works fine in my friends PC? I am unsure what to suggest but when it crashes i have to reboot my PC at the front of the base unit as like you, control, alt and delete do not work.
